    Course overview

    The Certificate IV in Electronic Forensics has been developed by the Australian Department of Defence for its use in securing electronic evidence in a forensically sound manner in a wide range of environments. Specifically designed for personnel to capture electronic evidence in a field environment this course is tailored for students interested in a career in law enforcement, military policing, intelligence, or other regulatory careers. From learning how to prepare to secure a crime scene (This also includes consideration that the computer as the crime scene), forensically acquiring and analysing what you capture and then present it in court, this is the most comprehensive digital forensics course in the world. In addition, because the course focusses on the electronic forensics continuum, undertaking this course will provide the student with the ability to specialise in one of several key electronic forensic areas as well as digital forensics.
