As part of the Uncharted Territory arts and innovation festival, Protecting our Future: Securing the Digital Domain Cyber Career Symposium is a must-attend event for anyone considering a career in cyber security or wanting to learn more about the industry.

 

Brought to you by the Canberra Cyber Hub and UNSW Canberra, the event features a selection of engaging and thought-provoking panel discussions on technology and combatting cyber crime, upskilling opportunities and advice on how you can begin or transition into a career in cyber security.

 

You'll also have ample networking opportunities with talented industry professionals and the chance to expand your knowledge and connect with others who share your passion for cyber security. The event also features a Cyber Careers Showcase, where education and training providers and cyber organisations will be available to offer guidance and provide different career options in the field.

Cyber Career Showcase:

This is a must-attend event for anyone considering a career in cyber security. You will have the chance to meet with leading Canberra cyber employers and businesses to learn more about the industry and discuss career options. You will also be able to meet with cyber training and education providers to uncover the best training and education course to upskill for a career in cyber security.

 

This event is not ticketed. Attendees are welcome to walk-in from 10:30am with doors closing at 4pm.

Early Career Cyber Stories

This session is aimed at people considering a career transition to cyber, graduates from tertiary cyber and information technology courses and school leavers. Hear from early career professionals about how they launched their career in cyber, what it's like working in the industry and how you can make the change yourself. Panel members:
