Testing and Assessment

Testing and Assessment constantly evolves. In this work, you'll identify security weaknesses, simulate real-life cyber attacks and deliver security assurance services.

You'll test web and mobile apps and internal and external infrastructure for vulnerabilities. You'll go on the offence for an organisation, finding threats before cyber criminals can get through.

If you work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail, you'll enjoy Testing and Assessment. People in this work are problem solvers and stay ahead of current cyber trends with ongoing education.

Cyber Incident Response

In Incident Response, you’ll predict and respond to cyber risks and attacks. You'll use scanning tools and threat intelligence sources to manage vulnerabilities. You might also develop security policies and procedures to identify, contain and eliminate cyber attacks.

In this role, you'll protect your organisation’s time, money, customers and reputation. You'll add long-term value to your organisation by quickly detecting and halting attacks, minimising harm and establishing safeguards.

You'll enjoy this type of work if you work well in a crisis. You will be critical and proactive, analyse situations completely and have solid decision-making skills.
