About Us
ContentKeeper Technologies, an Impero company, designs, develops and markets a range of security products worldwide. Our core technology, ContentKeeper had its initial development starting in 1997 and has been continually enhanced and refined over that period. Today, the ContentKeeper product family is deployed globally on some of the largest networks in operation and the end user licence count runs to tens of millions of protected endpoints.
ContentKeeper also develops a number of ancillary utility products that inter-operate with the core Linux based system.
These ancillary utilities operate on Windows, iOS, MacOS, ChromeOS and Android platforms. ContentKeeper development staff are all located in Canberra while the parent of ContentKeeper Technologies, Impero Software, is headquartered in Nottingham, UK.
ContentKeeper Technologies is a Canberra based and headquartered company. The company was a start-up that began development operations in 1997 at 218 Northbourne Avenue in Braddon.
On January the 1st 2022, ContentKeeper Technologies became an operating company of Impero Software of the UK.
All development operations are located in Braddon with a small number of development staff located in Europe and Brazil. The Chief Technology Officer for Impero Software is located in Canberra at the ContentKeeper headquarters facility.
Cyber Expertise and Capability
At the heart of the ContentKeeper product is super high speed frame/packet manipulation in real-time. The reason that the ContentKeeper product is chosen for deployment on network links operating at 40Gbit/s to 100Gbit/s is the unique packet processing engine that has been continually developed since 1997. This technology is then liked with our patented Closed-Loop Collaborative Filtering™ system that provides outstanding filtering performance and accuracy. This system was launched in 1997 and has operated continuously since launch day.
Coupled with the core packet processing technology, ContentKeeper implements a range of Secure Internet Gateway facilities that allow customers to tailor the deployment to their particular network needs. ContentKeeper is renowned for the performance of the SSL decryption engine that is part of the standard deployment and allows visibility of search engine activity.
