Social Cyber Group

With a Canberra HQ, the Social Cyber Group began as a startup at the University of New South Wales Canberra in 2019 after being challenged to monetise social science expertise to support better cyber security outcomes. Leading intelligence agencies have promoted a similar goal. SCG engages in projects in Australia and overseas. The leaders of the Social Cyber Group have shared their expertise with government agencies in Australia and overseas. SCG created the concept of 'social cyber value'. SCG operates at the leading edge of policy analysis and mobilisation, often behind the scenes.

Cyber security expertise and capability

The Social Cyber Group creates organisational insight essential for cyber security. It shapes opportunities for leaders in business and government to craft an enduring but flexible set of policies and procedures to ensure that technical security measures operate inside a healthy social cyber ecosystem. This ensures a comprehensive approach to reducing cyber incompetence, insecurity, and disinformation risks while maximising the gains from digital transformation.

Social Cyber Institute

The professional education courses of the Academy and BLI draw on the research activities of the Social Cyber Institute, a non-profit organisation that engages in research and policy dialogue with partners in Australia and internationally.

Blended Learning International

Blended Learning International  is an innovative education and training company in Australia and the Asia Pacific that offers an extensive range of education, training, agency, and research services through four major divisions to students, professionals, government, community and corporate sectors.
